Mindful Leadership Retreats
These experiential retreat days are designed for leaders who want to be the best versions of themselves. Mindful Leadership builds powerful self-management skills and improves motivation and resilience as well as enabling individuals to connect with like-minded leaders.

At the end of the interactive retreat participants will:
- Understand the concept of Emotional Intelligence (EQ) and how it can improve performance
- Learn practises in pausing for reducing our reactivity and increasing responsiveness
- Learn powerful processes for greater emotional self-awareness
- Know how to gain better understanding of others and empathise at critical moments
- Connect with like-minded leaders
Tewinbury Farm is just outside Welwyn Garden City, a beautiful hotel in the Hertfordshire countryside. It’s convenient to get to, just 20 minutes on the train from London and a 7 minute taxi ride from the station or close to the A1M.

We will be focusing the day on two of the Pillars of Emotional Intelligence using a combination of discussion and practical exercises to expand our perspective and develop our abilities.
We will also included introductory meditations as part of the day.
Explore how neuroscience is changing our perception and self-awareness.
Understand the implications of this perspective on consciousness and develop ways of staying in the present and more highly tuned to our emotional state so we can respond skilfully.
Understand how people impart information, emotion and meaning through verbal and non-verbal messaging. Here we are honing our people skills to tune into how others are feeling and reacting to enhance our business relationships.
On the Day
We understand you are busy and it can be difficult to take time out to focus on how to improve things when you’re constantly doing things.
But finding the space to be the best you can be is important. On a Mindful Leadership retreat you will learn to cultivate awareness in yourself and of others, helping you become a more effective leader.
Our experience is that a relaxed day allowing time for thought, facilitated discussion as well as practical exercises allows the optimum results. The day is confidential and is limited to 14 participants.
The day is split into 4 sessions, with regular breaks and lunch allowing for informal connection with other attendees.
You will explore the foundations of Emotional Intelligence (EQ), before diving deeper into two of the key pillars and how they relate to the leadership environment. You will also try meditation – a technique scientifically proven to benefit your emotional wellbeing.
