Becoming a Mindful Leader
Leadership with a conscience involves using your head and heart. It’s about curiosity rather than judgement and using scientifically proven techniques to create sustainable, secure businesses with teams who work more positively.
The Mindful Leadership programme is for organisations wanting to transform the leadership skills of key individuals, integrating scientifically-proven principles and well-researched leadership practices.
This programme provides dedicated time and space to allow the development of key skills in self-awareness, self-management, social awareness and relationship management – the key aspects of emotional intelligence.
These competencies are known to be difference-makers in business to optimise skills and bring people together to lead effectively (Daniel Goleman).
The Programme takes approximately 5-6 months but could be spread over 7 or 8 months, it includes 121 coaching and group sessions that encourage a deeper, practical exploration aand facilitated discussion to enhance your thought processes. We suggest a maximum of 12 participants, but it can be run with 3 or 4.

There are 4 individual coaching sessions as well as half day group workshops in a face-to-face environment.
Building Self-Awareness. We will be working on practical ways to improve our self-awareness. It’s about organising our lives to live in a way that supports the ability for us to train our attention. Our attention is the most valuable resource we have and training it results in enhanced creativity and focus.
Effective Communication. We will discuss and share the conditions needed for us to listen fully as well as the ‘in the moment’ capacity that we can build. In training our presence in this way, we are able to foster a ‘thinking environment’ for others and connect more deeply for better business.
Building Positive Relationships. We need to earn the right to be a trusted adviser – we will explore the key traits and practices that allow you to be trusted by your clients and colleagues and determine how we put them into practice.
Working through difficult conversations. Problems can easily escalate if left unaddressed but how can we do so skilfully, in a way that has a positive outcome for all? We’ll learn how to turn difficult conversations into meaningful exchanges.
